A Box of Kisses

The story is told about a man that punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.

He yelled at her, "Don't you know that when you give someone a present, there's supposed to be something inside it?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said,"Oh, Daddy, it is not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy."

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.
It is told that the man kept that gold box by his bed for years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as humans have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, friends, family and God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

Until you have learned to be tolerant with those who do not always agree with you; until you have cultivated the habit of saying some kind word to those whom you do not admire; until you have formed the habit of looking for the good instead of the bad there is in others, you will be neither successful nor
happy.
Napoleon Hill
Life's most urgent question is: what are you doing for others?
Martin Luther King, Jr.

We are the only beings on the planet who lead such rich internal lives that it's not the events that matter most to us, but rather, it's how we interpret those events that will determine how we think about ourselves and how we will act inthe future.
Anthony Robbins

Your friends have given you a gold box of kisses, you family has given you a gold box of kisses, God has given a box of kisses, don’t shut them out before you truly know that they care about you so much.

Kung Fu Panda - There is no secret ingredient (video clip premiere)

Hello people, I am so excited about introducing video clips to http://sqq21.blogspot.com. I always had this idea of capturing motivation through movies but I also knew that I don’t want to be a movie director. After much thought, what did I do? I picked out motivational scenes  from movies that caught my attention by editing the movies and making a video clip. The clip will be very short and the message will be direct. Finally, it’s been a year, but still I did it – I made the clip and uploaded it. I have more, dozens, I watch a lot of movies.

I saw the movie  – kung fu panda in 2009 and I loved it, it was totally awesome, the humor is excellent, the motivation is excellent, I was inspired, I still am, every time I watch the video clip.

Synopsis : Po (panda) worked with his father in a restaurant but all along he wanted to be a great ninja, it had always been his dream, as a matter of fact, it became an obsession. He was an admirer of the furious five – top ninjas in the town trained by master chifu, and he wanted to be like them. He was suddenly picked by master ugwe – teacher of master chifu, to be the dragon warrior (a warrior unlike anything the world has ever seen). Master chifu did not approve of the selection since he was hoping the dragon warrior will come from the furious five. It was difficult learning kung fu from master chifu but he never gave up. He later became a great ninja, figuring out a deadly technique – the wooshi finger hold, which he used to defeat tai-lon, a former student of master chifu who wanted to be the dragon warrior at all cost by getting hold of the scroll, thinking there was a secret to being the dragon warrior.

PS : I will welcome comments especially from those that have seen the movie.

PS: from last week
